In standard form the 997 turbo produces 500PS (368KW) 650NM. The RM580 improves upon this potent performance vehicle by re-calibrating the ECU parameters, fitting a performance exhaust system, full carbon fiber pressure pipe, air intake and sports air filters.

The modifications to the engine results in an impressive power output of 580PS (426KW) 800NM. These modifications enable the RM580 to accelerate from 0-100 kmh in 3.1 sec and reach a top speed of 325 kmh.

The exhaust system is made from T309 stainless steel and uses sports catalytic converters with sound throttles, complete with two 70mm double end-pipes. A valve controller is used to program and regulate the precise amount of exhaust back pressure.

A range of suspension upgrades are available, suitable for Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) fitted models. Wheels can either be custom designed or supplied in superlight forged one piece configurations. The tuning program comes with the choice of selected carbon fiber interior inserts and interior upgrades.

Additional performance upgrades and options include race-spec catalytic converters, high capacity turbo intercoolers, race-spec clutches, brakes, drive shafts, central locking wheels and aerodynamic body kits. The high quality components used in the RM580 tuning program are in-keeping with a performance vehicle of this calibre.
